    Hello. I’m one of the professionals who committed one of the errors you cited at the top – that is hiring a web designer who had no expertise in SEO. I learned the hard way that my website was not appearing in the top pages of Google after investing in Google Adwords. It was like flushing money down the toilet. Now, I’m debating whether I should learn the white hat SEO stuff on my own or hire some specialized to do it. I know it’s empowering to learn it myself and would prefer to have some basic information about it before recognizing whether I’ve hired the right person for the job.
