Successful Blogging Tips

Building a successful, vibrant blog is all about concentrated effort over time. I’m going to present a few guidelines I follow on a consistent basis to develop and build up my blog. If you read this article, you will add my expertise to your blog’s ongoing success. Your blog will get SUPERCHARGED!! Then, it will be YOUR turn to contribute some of your tips to our discussion!

Acknowledge and honor your readers. Without loyal readers, you’ll have a dead blog. Let them know you appreciate them! Put their first-class blogs or websites in the fame spotlight by giving them free reviews. Stumble their best articles! Comment on their blogs! Email them to let them know you appreciate the time they spent reading your blog and commenting! Not only will you develop one heck of a loyal readership, you will also attract more!

Impart passionate energy to your blog topic(s)!! You should not be blogging unless you are interested in a topic and are knowledgeable in that subject. Show passion in your posts! Your readers will feel this energy and will be drawn to your brand! You’ll set your brand apart from the thousands of other blogs!
Building a blog is all about sustained, concentrated effort over time. Keep commenting on blogs, posting on blogging forums, guest blog if you can, get involved in group writing projects, join blog carnivals and stick to a blogging schedule on your own blog. You’ll also need to muscle up some patience because it takes time to build up a blog. Experiment with social networks like Facebook, MySpace, MyBlogLog, and BlogCatalog. Interact with the blogging community. Do one of these activities each day and over time you will build up your blog’s readership and commentary. You’ll definitely notice a lot more traffic!!
Blogging is rapidly changing! You will need to keep learning more all the time. Set aside time to read other blogs. Read websites about blogging and blog-related topics. Read books offline about blogging, SEO, and about your chosen niche topic(s). The Internet, blogging, and social media are rapidly changing and it’s important to stay abreast of oncoming new trends. Micro blogging with twitter is one example of this. Another is identity through online life streams. Steve also discusses a new trend in his post, In the cut and paste era, traffic happens elsewhere. You need to stay persistent in your blogging. Keep on blogging according to your schedule. This is not going to be a smooth journey. I have already experienced a few slow days when I could not think of anything to write. Read other blogs regularly and jot your ideas down. You will be jarred by a few major bone-rattling bumps along your path to blogging success, but the trick is to persist and stay on track. Just keep on with your persistent, concentrated effort and you will see results: More readers, increased traffic, more comments and more backlinks!! Your readers will even give you ideas for more articles!

If you follow through with my guidelines, you’ll find your readership steadily increasing, you will see more comments, your traffic stats will increase and you’ll get more and more backlinks! You will get excited and you will EXPERIENCE some serious blogging energy that’ll have you writing article after inspiring article! You’ll have more great ideas to post about and your readers will dash to their feeds every morning to read more of your exciting, riveting, entertaining and educational blog articles!!
