How to get more subscribers to your blog
Bloggers want more subscribers to their blogs. In this article, I’ll give you a few pointers. If you’ll read my post and apply these tips to your blog, I’ll guarantee you that you’ll experience more RSS subscribers to your blog within 2 weeks.
Promote your feed with an image. If you promote your feed with an RSS image, your readers will see it and subscribe to your excellent blog. Text links are fine, but you should use an RSS image to add some kick to your feed.
Promote your feed repeatedly. Use a FeedBurner counter. Place links to your feed at the end of your posts. This makes it easy for your readers to find and subscribe to your feed. Place a few buttons to different feed aggregators in your sidebar. This makes it very convenient for your readers to click through to their readers and effortlessly add your feed to their aggregator.
Enlighten your readership about RSS. Write a post explaining what RSS and Feedburner are. Tell them how it can help them check on your blog for your useful updates. You should provide a link to your feed right at the end of your post.
Make email to RSS services available on your blog. You can find this at FeedBurner. I have it on my blog, in the Subscription Center at the top of my left sidebar.
Post your feed image and/or feedburner counter in a prominent place on your blog. This should be at the top left or right side of your blog, well above the fold. Better yet, set up a Subscription Center like the one I have at the top of my left sidebar.
